Mission Statement

We seek to preserve the history and vision of Joseph Wesley Young. Founder of the City of Hollywood and Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport).

We seek to provide fluid public access to Mr. Young’s personal residence by offering the public a variety of venue options.

We support the development of “Transferable Development Rights” with-in the city of Hollywood and the greater Broward County area. Let’s preserve history and keep our neighborhoods sustainable.

We support art and cultural exchanges through artistic events, open houses, and exhibitions. The Young Mansion seeks collaboration in introducing the works of artists of various fields including- music, film, photography, fashion, paintings, sculpture, poetry, and other creative art and design forms.
